AH's scoring system is strange indeed:

My TOD#5 k/d was 2,21.
I had 250 kills and 80 deaths (no bails).
I had 225 kills and 62 deaths in the C.205.
I had 47 ditches ... about 40 due to the infamous "bumpy runway" bug.

Anyway, 1.03 hit my SA and my C.205 low speed behaviour looks different (I know, I know what PYRO said). I'm not happy with my performance.

Gatt the reason your K/D rate doesn't add up to your claimed deaths and kills are because thats exactly what they are.

If noone gets the kill for you (crash on TO, getting captured without being hit, crash your plane after your destroyer died himself, etc.) it is not counted in your "Gatt has xx kills an been killed yy times"-statistic.

Due to this your K/D ratio will always be lower than the other.

It may be strange, but its not wrong.

P-51D 8/12... a huge change from before, quite surprising really, but fights seem to be generally higher. It's a bad time to fly the Typhoon
Bf 109G-10 5/6
Spitfire IX 16/9
B-17G 27/3
P-47 7/7
M-3 0/0
Zeke 4/2
Yakatak 1/2
190A-5 12/9
Panzer 4/5 (It's just pointless trying) :P
Typhoon 1/0 (I HOed him in a P-38, knowing he couldn't pull the negative Gs needed to aim
M-16 4/4
C.202 0/0 (Gets my vote as Most Obsolete Type In AH)
P-38L 4/1
Spit V 0/0
F4U-1C 7/1
G6 4/0
G2 2/0
F4 2/0
B26B 13/3
F4U-1D 2/3
C.205 2/3
190 A-8 1/2
N1K2 15/10
La-5 1/0
C-47 5/2   (No idea how I died, it's not whilst flying the Tiffy or P-38, hmm)

Buff stats 40/6 ! Who says buff gunners are too powerful in AH

And if you're intending to whine about the Tiffy's guns being too powerful - my P-38 vs buff stats are 6/0, so there

Verm:

Yeh, we gotta use that stats that are good looking

Lies, damned lies and statistics heheh

What worries me is that the good pilots always have an uncanny ability to find me and shoot me out of the sky. But that's the really fun fights; heart is pounding, hands sweating, body shaking and then...you've been killed by Citabria/Hangtime/GTR/Duckwng6 etc

<S!> to all pilots out there with some honesty

The only way to extract plane vs plane performance is in this manor, this is not intended to make people look better, its just that its the only way get any form of qauntitative statistics.
