I have compiled a list of some of the great things that HTC is adding in 1.08 in order to pass some of the time until the release. As we all know, 1.08 will be released in 2 weeks.

Me262A Schwalbe
The best hunter of the war and the ultimate perk plane. This thing packs real punch in that nose. The Me262 will also be a great scenario aircraft. And it is a very nice model to boot.

Hurricane MkIIc
One of the classic fighters of the world and the upgraded version of the true savior of the United Kingdom. Very useful as a scenario aircraft. Probably the best modeling job I have seen in AH.

Hurricane MkIId
The tank killing Hurri. 2 40mm guns that were capable of killing any German tank until the advent of the Panther V and Tiger series tanks. Yet another great looking model.

F4U-1 Corsair
The Corsair that started setting that incredible kill/death ratio and created the legend. A great looking early Navy color scheme for a great aircraft. Marianas Turkey Shoot anybody?

M8 'Greyhound'
A fast armored car with a little bit of punch. This should be a blast to drive and fun to dodge rockets and bombs in, but watch out for those straffing runs. Another great model from Superfly.

Mosquito FB.MkVI Series 2
The first truly successful multi-role aircraft and the envy of the Germans who tried repeatedly and never got one whereas the British got it without even requesting it. A stunning model in a Canadian color scheme by Natedog.

Trucks, trains (not shown) and towns!
These bring a refined strategy model and new ground targets to be hit. These will add yet more depth to AH and be a fun thing to hunt, either in an M8 or in a Mossie!

Add to the list rivers, bridges, and ability to drop supplies to bases. Also you can add couple of surprises they have (1 tank, 1 fighter, 1 bomber).

I'm thinking more like a month, maybe month and a half before it is out. Better that they work all the bugs out and then release it than release it and screw up a perfectly good game.

There is a good chance it WILL be released in 2 weeks... 4 weeks until the con. 1.08 may have the secret con mission hidden within, so... 1.08's release 1-2 weeks prior to the con to solve any bugs that may crop up.
Con Oct 13, 1.08 Oct 1...

Yeah, I did leave out the rivers and bridges.

The 1 ping engine dead bug is fixed in 1.08.

The N1K2-J, La-7 and other aircraft that were retaining energy too well have had their FMs revised.

There hasn't been any confirmation of the other aircraft or vehicles. While I suspect there might be more, I only wanted to put confirmed things in this post.

I remembered the trains. HTC announced those with an mpeg movie, not a screenshot. Thus I had the mention, but not show, the trains.

LA7 retains E too well? I musta missed the whine posts about that...

Haven't noticed probs with it myself except i have a hard time hittin anythin with it.. 300 rounds to hit a Tempest enough to kill it... oops mebbe my aim sux..
