Haven't had bangs since Michael Jackson was in the Top 40

Been trying to fight it. Funny how this WITH hair said they could care less if they had it. I'd kinda like to keep mine. Did the Rogaine thing, sorta stopped the loss, but didn't gain. Did the Propecia thing, same results, just not as messy as Rogaine (spray on, rub in twice a day)

This'll be a pretty personal question for some: Anyone gone the transplan route? Not the Barbie doll results but I'm more intrigued at the Bosley (http://www.bosley.com). I've seen someone who did this first hand, the results are amazing, albeit pricey

Kinda pondering things over, on the fence, so to speak.

Anyone else been there, done that?

Who needs hair? It just costs you to cut them every month or so, and then you gett all these clippings under your collar. You are driving home to take the shower and change the shirt, and your neck is iching like hell. I hate that.

EDIT... On top of that, I can't even grow a beard. It's just not fair I tell ya...

Oh... one last thing... the absolute best part of going bald was seeing the worried/scared face of my younger brother.

If I were going bald I would do the weekly buzz just like Sandman says. I have a couple of friends that are receding big time and that is what they do.

Whatever you do DO NOT go with the comb-over.

At about 35, I began thinning on the top, it was at that point that I had a decision to make:
A)keep the long hair and "comb-over" (No fuggin way!)
B)Stay with the "Monk" look. (Not my religion!)
C)Buy a good pair of clippers, and cut it short, then shave my head.

C go the vote.

I like Toosie pops too!

I might add, I've never considered Rogaine, or implant, etc. I'm married, wife didn't marry me for my looks (obviously) so I'm comfortable with being bald, hell, I think I give myself more crap about being bald than anyone does!

4 guys I know have spent major bucks on implants and/or the other arrangement that is a wig, but it looks pretty realistic. One of them did a comb over. (Saw him one day when his hair fell down like credit cards unfolding from your wallet - was funny)

Anyway, all 4 have given up on it. Three of them now keep thier hair very short. One guy shaves his head. I think they look much better, and the guys look like much more together individuals than they did with the contrivences.

Save your money.

Put me in the column of balding (actually thinning) guys who don't care. I started buzzing my nappy a year ago. In the hot Alabama summer it's really comfortable. I don't care how it looks, my wife is already trapped in marriage anyway.
