Went to see Les Miserables

First time I've been to a play in long while. It was playing in Birmingham. My wife heard about it and talked me into it. We went with some friends and I actually had a good time. I'd prolly go back to see another one.

I have avoided that one long enough with my wife and I live in Birmingham....  Although for her birthday I am taking her to see the "European Master's" art exhibit here in town. Call me soft but I have always enjoyed things like going to art museums on dates. I found that it really worked good as in college and they really don't know how to act/react when I suggested it back then.

fell asleep at phantom of the opera, but that was after hoofing it around san fran all day. wife enjoyed it but couldn't keep my eyes open - just remember it playing downtown in some old theater with seats too small and too close together

I know this is an unusual post for this group, hehe, but I can tell you from experience that there is nothing soft or easy when it comes to art.  If you do it for a living, its comparable to going to battle on Wall Street, lol.  Enjoy the arts fellas, only true warriors can appreciate them.  I'm proud HB and Reschke, both from Alabama, support art and culture.  God knows, someone has to.

That in and of itself is not cause for alarm... but if you have a substantial collection of Bette Midler and Barbara Striesand albums in the house, there is reason to worry.

Any shrinkage of the happy bag? Do you find yourself aroused by the sound of Ammo's voice on AHV? Do you find Lephturn attractive?

I'm getting a National Endowment for the Arts Grant to study the fesability of mixing rap music with polka music at the University of Wisconsin. It's only for 120,000 dollars, which isn't that much, but luckily I'll get to keep my Federal money the Goverment gives me to NOT milk my cows. I love the NEA. And I love America.
