I wanted to go hang out with a friend who just returned from a long trip on Sunday...

I asked the wife if it was okay...

She said "Yea, sure"....but I then noticed a slight edge to her voice.

So, I asked "Are you sure its okay?"

"Yea" she replied.

I then HAD to ask "Is this the 'Yea sure' that really means "if you go you are a dead man?"

She just said "No"

But, the way she said it spoke volumes.

I decided to stay home and see my friend after work on Monday (today).

That pic says it all!

Coin slot??

HA!

Try a bill slot. One that continiously spits the fediddlein bill back out, so you can re-crease it, reverse it, smooth the edges and try it again. and again. and again.

then, when it finally DOES take the bill, it refuses to do a damn thing, and refuse to respond to any adjustments.

I do not want to seem like I'm hijacking this thread, but
the post about litter from BenDover reminded me of a really
funny litter ad, and the CAF helped out with it. I believe
they used "Chuckie" based in Fort Worth.

The ad starts with a car coming over a rise and just as the
car gets close to the camera, out comes a mess of trash.  In
the same camera take, "Chuckie" (which was hidden behind the
same rise) comes up over the hill about 50 feet and has the
bombardier line up on the car the threw out the litter.

Very funny...10 years old now, but I still think that was
the best ad made.

That 'Man' box looks like a High End stereo amplifier. There's no useless knobs and buttons which distort the real thing.
