Whoa!... I really like this one.  Or maybe sand... something like an African campaign.  We could have the paint get blasted off of the leading edges.  All we'd need would be a 3 GHz computer and we'd be set!

How about some similar effects... Bug splatters.  Oh.. and rodents chewing on electrical cables.  Knobs in the cockpit showing wear!  Come on HTC! Its time to really start tasking these CPUs!!!

To get the fear of being shot, all HTC needs to do is program AH to delete a random file or files from your system when you get hit.  Make the Windows directory and Aces High directory off limits, need to keep the system working after all.  Delete 1 file if you get hit by a .303 or 7.92mm, 3 files if hit by a .50 cal or 12.7mm, 9 files if hit by a 20mm cannon round and 18 files if hit by a 30mm cannon round.  Do this for each and every round that hits.

That'll put the fear into people.
