..Well there goes our neigbourhood..

G10 loses XIV 0-6 .. tested it .. initial climb with wep on is bout 4k in G10 and 5k in spit in minute.. and the story continues when going up too. (at least to 17 k , then I had to start fiting..)

I didn't know the G-10 was perked at 60 points... ;)

No way the XIV can "Ruin your neighborhood" at that cost. Calm down.

I thought they would be the demise of H2H. With outside views. Unlimited ammo. All that crap. Not so. Ive killed eveyone ive ran into so far.  The dont seem to have the magic guns, the  other spits have.

They have exactly the same guns as the 9.  Fast as a P51 and climbs like a G-10, apart from that it doesn't seem all that uber to me.  Still gonna be a nightmare when ya get jumped by one or three of em:)

Anyone that chooses to furball with the XIV is likely to lose. There are too many planes that can tear it apart in that type of fight, plus you have that "kill me for big bucks!" sign hanging over it.

All the Brits got was a BnZ plane they lacked, and an expensive one at that. Your neighborhood is quite safe, believe me.

She's a handful, but a real killer.   I was climbing at 4700 fpm with a 75% fuel load.   I'm noticing some torque from the big mill, too.    I like risking perks when I fly, but I agree 60 is a bit much.   I'd like to see all perks reduced in value 25% or so - I really don't see many perk planes around at all.

Here's today's fact to chew on:
With the addition of the Mark XIV, Spitfire models alone outnumber the entire Japanese planeset.  :o

The Spit is a beautiful aircraft, and the Mk XIV particularly so, but I mean, really!    Maybe HTC is just conceding the PTO planeset to Target:Rabaul?
Well, no, I guess that can't be right because AH is just a couple  airframes short of a full late-war USN planeset.
