i just got one. the only game i have for it right now is Grand Tourismo 3. any recomendations for some other games?

Grand Theft Auto 3. You can jack people's cars, and then proceed to beat them and steal their money then run off with their car. Or you can wait until the ambulance shows up and steal the ambulance.

So much stuff to do in that game, it's amazing. I've only done like 2 of the missions, I just like to steal the cars and find weapons to go on killing sprees... get 5 stars and out comes the national guard! Steal a tank, ooooo now THAT's a rampage!

That's the only game I play on the PS2, well SSX Tricky isn't too bad either.

GTA 3 as already stated. Metal Gear Solid 2. Tony Hawk 3.

There's a few from 3 different genre's to get you started.

All 3 must-owns. Along with GT2 that you already have.

GTA3...which I'm waiting for on PC in April, is IMO THE best PS2 game on the market...I'd recommend that one.

Sons of Liberty (MGS2) is a great game in it's own right, looks stunning, plays well. The problem I had with it was that it was a little repetative. Think about this...I never got the sensation I was playing a game, as it seemed it was composed of dozens upon dozens of cutscenes. I'd watch a cutscene, then walk down a hall to find...another cutscene. I mean, come on, there's a cutscene that lasts an hour and fifteen minutes! That's 75 minutes between play time...kinda not good in my book.

GT3 is a great racing game, and it looks good to boot.

It's a matter of personal choice, go with what you like...

...when your health is down and you need to revitalize, steal a car and go find one of the numerous hookers. Think it costs about $100 (IIRC). After your car is done bouncing, the prostitute exits and you're once again at 100% health.

...oh, and if you think the price is too steep, get out of the car when the hooker does. Beat her up and take your money back.
