1.09 patch 2 problem please heeeeeeelp!!!!

when installling the new update the following error message appears:
"the file d:\program files\htc\aceshigh\htdlg.res is not a valid previous version and could not be upgraded"

when i open the software runs fine but when hit the "h2h, offline or online button" it drops me to desktop

and I cant run the ahfilm.exe because i dont have this file
any help????

I have found a particular anomoly everytime I download a patch ...

Right after auto-patch download, I start flying, and when I shoot someone down, I dont get the credit. My problem is not quite as drastic as yours but it always happens after an auto-patch download.

What I have ended up doing is when a patch is available, I get the FULL download on the web site and install that immediately and the problem goes away.

If you dont have a broadband connection, I know that the download will take some time but it could be worth the wait.

There is somehting wrong with the path that you are installing it on. Try deleting that file, or copy your settings folder over to your desktop. unistall AH. Make sure that the directory for it does not exsist and reinstall.
