I need links!

Ok, my brother is under the impression that the P-40 and the Spitfire is the same aircraft.  Who's got links to sites about these two types?  Preferably not game sites, but "historical, airforce/air corps documentation" (his words)

Have you tried clicking 'search' on your browser and entering P-40 and Spitfire? Here's an example of the links you can find.

thx guys
after lots of searching and hunting he still holds to his line that the spit and p40 are the same aircraft.

Guess i'll have to drag him to an airshow with warbirds and let him ask where the "P-40 Spitfires" are for him to learn

::shrug::

He is adopted....right?

OK, here is the difference, the Spitfire gets the cover of Vogue and the P40 gets the cover of New Jersey Monthly.

The Spitfire can be handled by Englishmen while it , with rare exception, takes a Colonial  to handle a real  airplane such as the P40.

Spitfires suck for nose art application whereas the P40 was designed with noseart areas in the specs.

Spitfires seem to fu....errr mate like bunnies if the numbers of Spitfires encountered in online sims is to be believed.

Spitfire landing gear do not do that cool turn backwards thing when raised.

There are probably a lot more ways to tell them apart but above is a start.
