190 Clip

The film seemed to be somewhat well received in the viewer forum.. so I'm taking it prime time.

A 190 was vulching a field and tried to force an overshoot as I came in on him.  I knew at the time it would make a great film... but AKIron attatched the music that makes it sweet.

Outstanding!!

By the way what program was used to edit that film and put it to music.  I've kinda been wanting to mess with that stuff and I really have no idea how to get started.

I cringe when I see guys pulling crap like that...sort of like the old fish flopping in WBs.  Hard to make an argument for the most realistic flight modelling when you see some of the stuff guys can pull off.

Its actually the best part of the whole film.  I can't believe how well the 190s moves merged with the music.  It was an excellent choice (thanks again AKIron).

Maybe you have a problem with it because its classical?  That may change after you get out of high school.

Obviously you don't know Nath very well at all.

Watch the film... decide for yourself whether the music fits.  Then come back and simply say "bad choice in music" and leave it hanging.

I pretty much doubt you'll do that... you've been out of high school for some time.

I know nath better than you give me credit for.

I thought it was a decent choice; I certainly can't deny that it synced up well with events in the film.  I can also think of some other pieces that would have worked just as well and synced up with the action.  Brahms Hungarian Dance #2 comes to mind if you want to go for something a bit more up-tempo, and there are a number of Bach concertos that would be great.  Maybe even some Tchaikovsky would work.

Nath's not in high school.  Also, I think you're missing the point of his post.  He's not criticising the genre of music, he's criticising the particular choice.  Nath loves classical music and knows quite a bit about it, which is probably why he believes there's a better choice for your film than Strauss.

But you've just shown that you don't.

Uhmm yeah I agree with the FM comment, it seems very herky jerky if you ask me in that film.

And I hate to bring it up, but.. uhm the damage model. Well by the looks of how a (few) rounds of ammo disected that plane, is uhmm nothing short of unbelieveable.

Im sorry, and hate to bring it up, but I think Aces High needs something more along the lines of Il2's damage model.

Good music though :-) it definatly fits the wind up to the kill.

I'm sorry?  What part did you find funny?

Or are you somehow incapable of realizing that the persona Nath portrays online and in Aces High doesn't necessarily reflect the way he is in "real life?"  It sure seems that way.
