I assume you've gone into the Aces High setup, select joystick, and assigned the axis to each and every stick axis.  Don't forget to assign brakes to an x y axis on the pedals, as well as the standard x y axis for stick.

Get every axis, You should see three CH Control Manager Devices. On the left you should click on each AH Control item, then click the CH Control Manager Device in the middle, then click the appropriate Joystick Input on the right, then don't forget to click Set Input, and Apply, for each and every axis choice.

Test them out in the calibration blue screen section of AH. If you find you have assigned them to the wrong stick, such as the rudders are moving the throttle, then go back and assign them again until you get it right.

Again, don't forget to assign the right and left brake.

I hope it's as simple as that.

When using the Control Manager, click on the little lightning bolt at the top before you map your keys, and select 6-axis 32 button for your setup.

This will enable all of your axis with your controller, and let windows recognize all three as a single device.

Make sure you have the latest version of the Control Manager from Ch products....don't use the version that came with your CH gear. You should have at least version 1.23 Uncheck the shift and Direct X boxes, then type in the command that you want.Ex:for you upper hat switch,if you want to look forward and up,type in HOLD KP5 KP6.If it's a single KP digit, the hold command isn't needed.Print out the list of what you have to type for commands from the Control Manager help section.

I can send you my template, but I use the Combatstick, not the Fighterstick. But it would give you an idea of what is needed for each command.Let me know.

I do all my mapping there, not in Aces High.

Send me your e-mail at:

    miked62@insight.rr.com

and I'll send you the template.

Remember that my stick is different...but it will show you exactly how I have the throttle mapped, which will give you some idea(along with the help section)of how to make and customize your own map.
