Combat Arena
« on: April 01, 2002, 11:30:17 AM »
Hey guys.
I'm new so i really have no idea what's going on...........at all..............ever! but, i would like to thank everyone for making and setting up the Combat Arena. After playing in the MA for awhile , it's get boring. noone wants to focus and get orginized. at lest never when i'm in there harldy. So i trotted over to the Combat Arena. it's great! Eveyone is equally balanced. more or less. It's more real than the MA. It's a wonder why more dont fly in the CA. I get tired of Spit vs. Spit ,La7 vs. Spits, and Spits vs. Spits....etc. Axis vs. Allied. that's the good part. no so much plane (itself) vs. plane.
Anyway thanks for the room. i just wish more people would play in there. I love the Stalingrad map. I keep getting missing images messages. and i was not able to find the Hurri MkI (my Fav.) or the Spit MkI. Can some one shed so light on this. do i need to relaod the game?

Heya! Welcome!  Well, Stalingrad is nice, but still a far cry from a finished product.  Spawn points for GV's place you peculiar spots, and they're not 'organized'.  I suspect that spawn points and plane set makes or breaks a terrain, and this week-end there wasn't much activity in the CT.  I too get the missing shapes message in Stalingrad.

Welcome aboard OX!
Sorry I got to fly once in the arena this weekend, and I flew LW , so I have no idea about the Hurri I.

I took it out of the set up, the Huricane 1, I had not intended for it to be in the original set up and their was some confushion between Buzbait and myself and he inadvertanily added it. Sory for the confushion.

When I loged on Sunday evening their were over 30 people in the CT.

I did not think they were a very revelant adation since they were used in so few numbers at this time and place and since the spit V would be used almost all the time anyway I simple did not add them, almost always I will add earler planes to a planeset I do to add depth to the planeset but in this instance I left them out. In the future I will indead keep up my former policy:)
