Lets do it!  The "Field under attack" now yells at ya when your flight gets within 12.5 miles of an enemy field, it would also expand the arena, currently all the fites seem to be in 25% of the arena, "no bar dar under 500 feet" would give the agressor room to expand, and the defender somewhere else to fight!

Yes please.

I would enchance it by:

1)Dot bar below 200ft if plane is within 5 miles of a field or factory

2)Dot bar for planes above 25k , no matter where they are (even across the map). This would enable the other country to spot a hi alt raid coming in and have enough time to scramble. It would also mean the bombers have to come in escorted, since the alt wont be as great a defense it was before. And even then a buff above 25k can outmanouver and out-gun any fighter in the arena.

Just curious... WHICH of the following are true now??  This has always been one of those questions you could ask five people and guarantee five different answers.  Is there a location where you can find all of the settings for an arena??

  • no bar dar under 500 feet
  • Dot bar below 200ft if plane is within 5 miles of a field or factory
  • Dot bar for planes above 25k

How about bumping the dot dar refresh period up to 15 or 20 seconds?

Yeah, and let's have all the runways on fields under attack turn into sticky tar, so the planes will be all stuck in a row when the enemy arrives!  Wheeeee!

Last night (Sunday), my squad ran a low raid in the MA and we were all flying at less than 200ft.  Does friendly bar radar still register your flight??  (it sure lit us up)

On Sunday evening my squad also did an NOE over the water most of the squad below 200ft in various attack AC accept 2 fighters circling around 500ft. We were practically the only freindlies in the sector but the Green Bar was Huge. Does the "No bar dar below 500 ft" only apply to enemy bar?

Good question Acid.....

Would be great to know if flying under 200' registers on enemy dar bar......would add a whole new aspect to our squadron's tactics if it were that way.....

I dont know acid. 3 nights ago my squad did a NOE raid on a field that had been completely empty for hours and was very far away from the front lines. We went NOE the whole way, below 100ft..and the moment we entered that field's sector, people upped to intercept from that field and from the field behind it.

In NDisles, Ive seen a bar dar on the sector NE of P14.. flew there from A15 and found a single goonie skimming the waves. When I shot it down the bar dar dissapeared.

So I dont know what the heck is going on in the MA.
