Add the F-14A Block 85!!

Preferably BuNo 159623.

Hey, everyone else is asking for an aircraft, and the rumor is you can have anything you want if you give HiTech and Pyro enough of a bribe...

So, guys, what'll it take?  :D :D

I suppose this would be a perk plane?
//c coad  c coad run  run coad run
main (){char _[]={"S~||(iuv{nkx%K9Y$hzhhd\x0c"},__
,___=1;for(__=___>>___;__<((___<<___<<___<<___<<___
)+(___<<___<<___<<___)-___);__+=___)putchar((_[__
])+(__/((___<<___)+___))-((___&

Would rather have a F- 4J PHANTOM II! With VF-84 or VF-111 markings.

Would be way cool trying to set a "ThunderHog" down on one of the CV's we got!

Think the Corsair is hard to take off fully loaded! :D

Hence the invention of the "Steam Catapult"

Now THAT would be a ride :D

I can see it now... AH 6.0 Launching F-4's off Flight decks , AH's playerbase has grown we now have multiple arena's based on Era, WW2 (1936-1945) Korea, Vietnam.... oh, and due to popular demand for LW "What If's" we have the WW2: 1946 arena, population capacity 3000 each, and all running smooth as silk due to the ultra-new backbone skuzzy had installed. The phone companies, tired of the endless browbeating by Skuzzy and HTC have finally capitulated and just do what they say, when they say it.

P.S. HT, I'm still waiting for my pistol in my chute so i can shoot back at Fatty and the rest of the FDB's when they shoot me down. (ya'd think by V6.0 they'd have modeled it but sheesh!

:D

Hey, a guy can dream can't he?

Why a block 85? Block 110 was IMHO the best of the F-14A breed.

Far easier to work on than the later 'Cats...

Off course, that was solely from a maintainers point of view (one that worked on everything from a pre-production Tomcat to a Delta).

From a tactical point of view, I'd either go with B model (fastest of them all), or the Delta (best avionics...but a b*tch to work on).

Hey, I have it down to BuNo, not just block.

There might be a reason  :)

Grippen!?  HA!

For any value of $myAirplane and $yourAirplane where $myAirplane != $yourAirplane:

$myAirplane rocks and anyone who flys $yourAirplane is a dweeb  :D

As long as we're at this:

$yourAirplane should be perked but obviously $myAirplane should not, and we need another variant of $myAirplane to complete the plane set.  Also, the modeling on $myAirplane is wrong, it should be faster, climb better, turn faster, and when is HiTech going to learn what torque is?  After seven years at this business you'd think he'd learn how airplanes fly...

:D :D

I'll go climb back under my rock now.
