I think we do. A Post in other thread opened up my eyes. I think we have a not-so-diverse MA nowadays. There are planes that are gathering dust in the hangars and hardly seen in flight....F4U-4, Ta-152, C.202, ...you name them.
I like the Perk system, but IMHO, time has come to make some fine tuning.
From my point of view, the most important and "urgent" thing to do is make a regular review of perk points. I would say weekly. This single thing would make Perk system a really dynamic way of balancing plane usage.
Use a "reference" usage table (published by Htc., for instance %Kills over Total Kills) and try to fit plane usage to this reference by changing perks and eny values. Then that "reference" could be reviewed namely monthly or so, if results are not pleasant.
Resuming, I think Perk system deserves a more dynamic and careful management.
