Quite a few years ago there was a beta test for an online ww2 flight sim named Fighter Ops. I can't remember what game Fighter Ops turned into.. Does anyone know?

Fighter ops was an "tuned down" Warbirds, Warbirds easy mode if you like...

I remember playing it quite a few years ago because it was free and I was a kid without any money. Not that I really have much more money now with all the bills I have to pay, but at least I have the credit card so that I can play!

I hope you aren't the same "8bal" that also was in the early Confirmed Kill / Warbirds beta...

That "8bal" constantly wrote checks with his mouth that his butt could not cash. Him and his little band of dweeblets were the subject of more than one hunt by the Pigs. He died often, at the hands of so many...

Which reminds me...one way to "police" the MA is for the player ID's to be displayed as icons. I kinda miss that from the old days...although player icons on all the time has it's own set of problems. Player icons within say D1.0 would be cool to try for a tour.

Nope, Warbirds beta is too long ago for me to have played it. I tried Warbirds and Fighter Ops and even AW but none of them got me hooked enough to pay. But Aces High has easily done it
