editing an *.ahf file
« on: April 04, 2002, 08:55:43 PM »
did anyone managed to cut a part of a ahf film and save it as a new small ahf film?

when I hit "start selection"  then "end selection" and finaly  "copy selection" it save the selected bit of film to a new ahf file.
however, when I view this new file it runs, only my plane is in the wrong location. for example: if i was flying close formation, then in new new film I'm waaaay back of the formation.

is this a bug? just me? or am I doing something wrong?

It's a known problem, boz.

The film clipping only works when you include the very beginning of the whole film. For instance, of a 30sec film, if you cut out 0:00 to 0:15 and save it differently, you get good results. But if you attempt to cut 0:15 to 0:30 out and save it, the locations of planes go haywire.
