obviously, any change to dar is ah.. "contravesial" but... I believe that there is one that everyone would like..

lets not include ground vehicles in the bar or, at the least, give them a seperate bar. It is plenty frustrating fly and flying and never seeing the con's that the bar swears are there and then getting all the way to the field and seeing that there is nothing around but a buncha stupid GV's.

We can leave the rest of the dar the way it is. I won't even ask for realism by asking for alt info.

Add no dar bar for planes under 500 feet ground level and it is perfect.

Erm, Laz, removing vehicles from the bar dar would give them free reign to mount invisible sneak attacks.

Your second suggestion though, a separate bar, would work well. Might even help vehicle-to-vehicle fights occur.

The DAR bar could me made modal. Hit a key and the DAR bar shows vehicles, hit the key again and it shows aircraft, hit it again and it shows all.

If hooligan and pop both agree on something and then bother to comment, then.... Whatever that something is... it needs to be done last week. trust me on this.
