switching ammo in a Panzer

I've been trying to figure out how to change from HE rounds to AP rounds when I am in the Panzer. Anyone with a quick walk thru how to map the keys to select ammo type? I've tried keymapping and stickmapping but I must be missing something. When I run out of HE rounds I can't use the AP ones.

Help please!?!

go into keymapping (setup>keymapping).  Go to gunner keys and map a key to Select_Primary.
To use the coax machine gun you also need to map a key to Fire_Secondary.
