i'm running cacheman on my machine and even though it shows plenty of physical memory free it's still using about 170mb of virtual memory.  why?

If you have 256mb or more...

Add the line below under the [386Enh] line in your system.ini file, it will force Windows to use physical memory before virtual.

ConservativeSwapfileUsage=1
