Can you imagine what would happen if the constant whines actually produced a result? Talk about opening the flood gates. They'd have to take the board off line.

They do get results.  N1k2 got 'fixed' (literally and figuratively), P38 got toughened up quite a bit.

The second one was undoubtadly the result of prolonged and incessent whining, there is just about no data I could think of that would prove the P38 was "Too Weak" as people were claiming.

Skipping past those jokes about whinning about whinning that might be humours (maybe) I've sat and thought about this too.

1.  You have a favorite game in your head.  Because HTC actually changes the game over time, unlike the FPS DooM clones out there you can eventually get the game that YOU want because the game is still being worked on.  So, instead of just dealing with what is in front of them, they want it changed to what they want it to be, because what we have isn't what they want.  If it were not for the updates, there wouldn't be whinning, just complaits about people using the most successful tactic.

2.  They think this is real.  The real world turned out one way, and this game is based on the real world.  Ergo this game should too.  These completely ignorant comments like, "Well, in the REAL WORLD (of which I am an vastly superior expert unlike you) this such-and-such plane could always beat a such-and-such plane because of this factor!" completely forgetting there isn't anything in this game that resembles reality.  Yup, you read that right.  This is a game.  If for a moment you think you can be a fighter pilot simply by flying a >>>>>GAME<<<<< for a weekend, your the biggest moron I've ever encountered.  There ammount of factors involved in the fights we do versus reality are an order of magnitude greater.  This isn't anything like reality.

3.  They want to win.  People show some nationalistic or personal favoritism.  They want their baby to win because they think it should.  They see only flaws in it, none of the good points.  They want their baby's flaws gone.

AMEN

talking about realism ?
Who of us flew a Warbird in reality
Who of us know how this thingie behave.
Most of us know most of things from books and posts and Webpages.
In reality when enema was down HE WAS DOWN, and not be able to up 10 seconds later.
In reality u didnt have the ENEMA in 5, 10, 15, 20, 25k within 10 miles radius.
So SIMS will be SIMS and they wont be realistic. all the could do is to give us the feeling to fly (realistic)
Over all AH in the prime time is like quakeing around.
The best time to fly is around 3 am in the night ur Eastcoast time. When only 70 to 80 people online usually.
Then u can play good teamwork and wingman tactic
