Now that would be a cool plane. Me 410, of course. I cannot but see a 110G-2 as a poor substitute for the 410.

Still missing the MK 103s ;(

Schräge Musik

That's Schräge Musik , babelfish says that's "bevel music" in english - it means badly played music. Pronounciation: shraege muzeek .

IIRC, FW190 could mount 2xMK108 in Schräge Musik configuration... just the right thing for those turn-like-crazy Spitfires.

Schräge-Musik  means "Slanting Music" or "Jazz Music".
Ta-154 "Moskito" would be cool plane just like Arado 243 b2.
Heres few other weapons to fw190 againts those turning spits...;)

SG 113 Zellendusche - 3-tube battery based on the MK 103 cannons mounted in the rear fuselage. Firing was made by a photosensor impulse.
SG 117 Zellendusche - 6-tube modification of the previously described battery.
Rohrblock 108 - similar construction with 7 tubes based on the elements of the MK 108 cannon, fired by photosensor impulse. Probably, it consisted only of MK 108 cannons barrels with a single cartridge; after firing of the first barrel others were fired automatically by the recoil force of previous barrel. This kind of armament was used for bombers interception and was tested on the Fw 190A-8.
SG ? Harfe - set of 3-4 15-barrel, unguided 20 mm missile launchers mounted in the rear fuselage on both sides. At least one prototype plane had such armament and was presented to Gen. Adolf Galland.

Sage,

I cannot tell if you were sarcastic towards me or supporting me.

As for fighters, should each theater of operations be somewhat even between the combatants?  Similar number of LW, USA, Russian and Brit aircraft in ETO?  What about PTO?...similar USA and Japanese aircraft in the PTO so the fights are balanced?  If that's the case, then overall, we will end up having more USA aircraft plain and simple.  Japan didn't fight in Europe and the LW didn't fight in the Pacific but the USA fought in both theaters.  In addition to that, take into account the medium and heavy bomber situation and the USA had many, many airframes.  I personally think it's important to work on "themes" or theaters and stuff.  The USA is doing just fine in terms of a theater split up.  I do think we need more Japanese and I'd definitely make my vote for working on early war airframes now.
