There were so many different armement options for the He219 that the RLM asked Heinkel to make them fewer, what I've read as normal was always the 2x20mm in wing roots + 2-4 30mm in fuselage, either Mk108 or Mk103 (both were used). First combat sortie the He219 flew a single plane shot down 5 lancaster at night, was the first (only?) plane (except 262 maybe) to intercept and shoot down night bombing/fighting mosquitos.
11.06.43..... Werner Streib scored 5 British heavy bombers in timespan of 30 mins at first combat flight and ten days later 20 british bombers , including 6 mosquitoes was shot down in six sorties by He 219s.
He219/A7
Max speed 416 mph (670km/h)
Initial climb 1,804 ft (550m)/min
Service ceiling 41,660 ft (12,700m)
Range 1,243 miles (2,000km)
Empty 24,692 lb (11,200 kg)
Loaded 33,730 lb. (15,200 kg)
With full armament, fuel and radar with huge Hirschgeweih (stag's antlers) dipole aerial array, plane speed was only 311 mph (500 km/h) at 26,247 ft (8000 m).
He219/A7 was equipment with FuG 218 Neptun radar (range 120m to 5000 m + "Check 6" tail warning ), FuG 101 altimeter ,Lichtenstein SN-2 radar (range 300 m to 4000 m and tail warning feature) and FuBl 2F an airfield blind approach receiver. Uhu was a two-seater heavy night-fighter, cabin was pressurized and heavily armored, pilot and navigator sat back to back on the world´s first ejection seats.
He 219 was the only night-fighter able to deal with the Mosquito, Ju 88G and Me 110 G4 was only capable of catching the lancaster and halifax. Planes which could easily shoot down mosquito was Me 262 b, Arado 234 B-2/N Nachtigall (nightingale) and Me 262 B-1a/U1 night fighter with FuG 218 Neptun V and FuG 350 ZG “Naxos” radars but only 12 planes were build.
