Yup, as I stated in the Discussion Forum, we had the Hellcat Squadron entering our space in organized strike formations, fleet action, base captures back and forth, and intense fighter combat from 15K to the deck. Was fun as it was varied.

Well I served as target practice for Brady and Frenchy (who is not really French, probably Quebecoois):p

I got killed more times than I care to know and in about 50+ sorties in a TBM all I managed was 1 DD sunk:eek:

If there is a person who has half a friggin clue on how to successfully attack a fleet using torps....speak up!

to everyone but Brady and Frenchy:p

Yup I think the only kills I got in the TBM (I did get several assists) were when you guys would explode on takeoff due to the turning CV:)

Argyll, daddog and myself were TBMing.  We had Antman and a few other CAPing for our approach.

HI

Just a quick suggestion for HT and answer to skernsk's quastion " how to successfully attack a fleet using torps" would be this: instead of adding more and more planes that very few people will take the time to master, add submarines. Every major power in WWII had'em.
I don't have a clue how this could be done but I invision a some sort of periscope as a sights and sonar returns on the map.
Big ships, instead of just sitting there, fat and happy, would have to worry about sub or two lurking beneath. Coordinated attacks of planes, boats and subs could give any fleet, park few miles off shore for example, run for it's money. What do you guys think?
Sorry if I strayed from the original post.  !S!

Hey McQ I think HTC has mentioned something about submarines, but I hvae no idea how or when they plan to implement them.

In the mean time...can somebody tell me how to hit a damn ship with a torp?:)

Last I heard from HT he wants subs (Think his dad was a WWII Sub vet) But he hadn't figured out how to do sonor yet.

However Dales a smart guy, if anyone can figure it out I reckon he can. :) He's likely been spending his sundays working on it.

I think Swagger and/or Sour figured out how to do it awhile back.  :)
