I miss how freakin hard it was to get a damn 109 in the air.
I miss having to fly off cliff bases in order to get airborne.
I miss non-stop a1 10k launching jabo runs.
I miss knights being the red-headed undermanned step children.
I miss when I knew everyone who shot me down.

...but its all good now.

I miss the organized Bombing raids. b17S with P-51 escorts.

I miss the organized missions (before the mission planner)

I really really miss flying with Sunchaser of the Mad Bombers
As if not for him I never would of found Aces High.

I miss the original P-47 D-30 released I think back in May of 2000.

I miss the original P-47 D-11 (AKA Spit Bolt)

I miss solo deacking a remote base in a Typhie or comparable plane and then gooning it myself. I just miss the satisfaction and surprise it caused, but overall I'm glad it's a little more difficult nowadays.
