I just bought the Saitek X45. I don't like using the built-in rudder controls. Can anyone tell me what kind of rudder pedals would work with the X45?

Windows XP
P4 1.8GB
512 MB of ram
SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio
Nvidia Riva TNT2 Model 64/Model 64Pro

Also, any suggestions on improving frame rates? I have already updated drivers.

I use the CH Pro USB with the X45. I really like the toe brakes with the CH Pro's.

You can also use gameport pedals (e.g., CH Pedals/Pro Pedals or Thrustmaster Elite pedals). See this thread:

If you have not bought pedals get the USB ones. The gameport ones are more tricky to get running with the saitek sticks.

CH Pro Pedals(USB) work great with the X45. Love those toe brakes!

Not to HiJack the thread but I have the X45 and use the CH ProPedals USB (that I won at the first AH Con)
Lately I have to calibrate the peds every mission or I find myself tooling along with 1/2 rudder deflection at the worst of times..
is there a way to fix this? Can you change the pots out, and does it take an E-Engineer to do it?
