I have a problem!!!!!

I downloaded the version of the game and installed it but when i go to play it it comes up with an error saying:  



The ACESHIGH.EXE file is linked to missing export DSOUND.DLL:12.



Does anyone have a clue what this means.  And how do I fix it.   I can't play the game yet so I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to fix this.

You need to install DirectX again.

Dsound.dll is a DirectX application extension, the game uses it to initialize your sound card.

You need to install directx 8.1 on your system.

To to http://www.microsoft.com and in there search window type directx
