Nik got you down??? history not being followed true it had a horrible engine and the aluminum was rippled because of shoddy workmanship but guess what,,,so was the spit back in 1939, and the me-262 at the end of the war, but ive got it guys check this out,, give us the bearcat and,, man what was that british plane thats winning all of the f1 flight races now? ahh nevermind well heres the deal keep the nik and introduce all of the post war prop planes as perks!!!!!! bearcat had 4 cannon and could outturn the nik!!! dang what a plane. loosen up and perk these post war birds I know youve thought about it so lets have it!!!!

perk shmerk why not open the arena up a little more? everine and thier grandmother has over 100 perk's why not make it intresting?

Hermit has 10 kills and has been killed 1 time in the Ki-61 against the N1K2.

I don't think it should be perked.

Hehe FD, not true

The niki might not be fast in level flight but it can accelerate even with a TA152 and dive as fast as one and yet have controll, I've done it and tried it, had niki dive almost as fast as I did, only thing was that my TA152 was locked up, alt 15-5k.

Don't perk it, not around much in the arena any more, could perk the spit 9 instead.

I'd say all the planes that need perked allready are. But if you must perk, perk the La-7 . That thing is a monster and  encountered very frequently  .

Don't get drawn in to blowing your E when fighting an N1k2 and it can't hurt you .

A minor point to the original poster: The F8F-1, the type in service at the end of the war, was armed with four .50 caliber Brownings. Twenty millimeter guns did not appear until the postwar F8F-2.
