Take that "14" from the icon and see what happens to the k/d ratio then.........Like all perk planes, it attracts enemy planes like stink on toejam.
Case in point: Few nights ago, I upped from A44 in an F6F, just tooling along grabbing alt, trying to get used to using my feets to maneuver the plane now (

Hats off to you fellers who've been doing this for years....sometimes I get confused as a baby in a topless bar!) when lo and behold! What do I see?
About 4K below me, one of my countrymen is being molested by a swarm of enemy cons.........hhhhhhmmmmmm....
..."Spit14, Niki, Niki, Niki, La7, La7, La7, Tiffy.........what? Spit14?"
So, in spite of the odds, I put that Hellkitty in a zero G dive and tore downhill to help my comrade.......
What plane did I single out as my target when I dove? If you said Niki or La7, you would have been wrong.
Apparently the Spit14 driver was feeling invincible or something, he was lazily participating in a BnZ fest with his buddies. As he came up, I was still coming downstairs, and when he pulled a lazy (and I mean LAZY) wingover, I lit him up and gleefully watched him fall to the MA earth minus a wing and other parts.
Decided to get out of dodge when I saw a few higher Ponies otw to me, ended up getting nailed by a 109 over the runway as I let down to land my "prize" scalp. Even with the death, I got something like 3.7-odd perkies......
My point......it ain't the plane, it's the pilot, and the freaking icon that says "Here I am! Come on, 5, 6, hell, even 10 of ya! Come on! I can take you!". Flown even halfway smart, there would have been no way for me to get that Spit14. The Spit14 is no more or less lethal than a Dora or G10; either of the three can be untouchable, depending on what the pilot does with the plane, and what tactics he uses. Taking a Spit 14 into the weeds under those circumstances was stupid.........having the perk plane icon only guaranteed the guy would not land that sortie successfully.
