The story of the last days of U 853. Article is called the Final Battle.

I was suprised on finding such a good Historical article in Maxim.

Good Job Maxim dudes.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Actually Maxim usually prints some very informative, well written articles. I remember reading one about one the "nuclear footballs" that are carried around with the president getting lost. Thats was pretty scary.

Of course, the babe pics also rock my world.

True story,
Was at a local bookstore, some kid was there with his skateboarding buddies and had 2 magazines in his hands while heading up to pay for them.  The first was "Skateboard Monthly"  (or some other Skater Mag) and had picture of a guy doing some trick that had him 10 feet in the air.  The other was Maxim with a chick dressed in skintight leather.  He and his buddies get to the cashier, set down their boards on the floor, set the 2 magazines infront of her and pool their cash to pay for it.  Lady rings up the total, $15 or something, the kids total their change and only have $12.  Dilema... they can't afford both so can only get one, you can see them all looking at each other... Maxim?  Skater Mag?  Maxim? Skater Mag?....

Happily, hormones won out and the Skater Mag went back to the shelves... made me realize that although I don't understand everything kids like this day that some things don't change.

Honestly, was the Skater Mag that important for $3?  No, they clearly made the right choice :)   If they had tried to put the Maxim back on the rack though I would have had to step in.

Besides, I probably saved them a cracked skull from trying an aerial reverse flip spinning 360 as described in the skater mag.
