the 2 stars w bars looks a bit funky

Come to think of it, does that tail on the F4F look a little tall?

The F4F's vertical empennage should be noticeably shorter and squatter than the FM-2's. Its not entirely clear from the screenshots; the tails look pretty similar to me.

thanks cit. I couldn't find a pic of the top of the wings....... and yes the tails are very different........ the screen shot doesn't do it justice.

Wasnt the FM-2's Vert-stab taller than the F4F-4?, and the guns are backwards.
FM-2 had 6 .50cal+6 HAVAR rockets and 500lb's of bombs
F4F-4 had 4 .50cal

I agree with only 1 star on the wings. The F4F-4 did have a smaller tail and 6 x 50 caliber. FM-2 was faster because of a taller tail and only had 4 x 50 caliber.

Last time I bounced really hard on the deck, my F4U shot up about 1000 feet from the deck and took about one minute to float back down to the water where I promptly sploded.
