Tank Camouflage?
« on: April 19, 2002, 12:39:22 AM »
Hi Guys,

I know this has probably been brought up countless times, but while desert yellow works well in a desert background, it shows up pretty darn well against a green background. Since we don't currently have any desert maps, its kind of frustrating being an osti or panzer driver and knowing you are the highest contrast piece of equipment on the map. Any plans to either give us a desert or introduce European Camouflage for German vehicles?

BTW - No Ostis were deployed to the desert war, they were too late (July 1944) to see action there so the choice of Sand for the camo is rather odd.

Sure no prob. Give the gvs camos. Just make sure to remove the icons for airplanes when you're in a gv. ;)

I think more important than camo (which is important in itself and I agree with your point) is the dot thinghie. It gives GV's (and deck flying Goons, for what is worth) position away farther than wrong camo scheme.

Cheers,
