How about a P-40?
« on: April 19, 2002, 12:55:29 PM »
A WW2 flight simulator just isn't complete without a P-40, even if it is a dog of an airplane.  The AVG flew'em, John Wayne featured'em, and I want'em!

Everyone and there bother, including myself have been hollerin' about the P-40. It's a Early planset bird, and so is the F4F, so the p-40 (alone) might be around the corner. Wheni first started playing, That's what i asked for a P-40, P-39, ju87, but when they get here (SOON I HOPE:D )My luck I will suck at flying them.

I want the p-40 too (since I saw Pearl Harbor :)).
I think HTC will bring it, maybe not in 1.10, but in 1.11, because so many people wants it.

P-40 didn't even see action in WWII. Don't see why we should model it here.

Reading a real good book on the P-40 in Africa and the Med right now.  We need one.

P-40K of Lt. R. Johnson "Jay" Overcash, 64th FS/57th FG, Hani Main, Tunisia, May '43.  Five kills.

Maby with verson 1.11 we will get a He111:D But on a more seriouse note. Ther P-40 is just a P-36 with a inline engin. But it was beter than the Hawk. The Warhawk would be a GREAT addition to the set. Flying Tigers will probibly be modeled. I think they had the Warhawk B or C. Need to look up on it.
But we need a P-39 in AMERICAN colors.

John Belushi, as Captain Wild Bill Kelso, also featured a P-40!
