Question and a <S> to the Bishops
« on: April 21, 2002, 07:51:48 PM »
I'm wondering, really, how much cooperation the Rooks and Bishops have.  I hear entirely too much about how the Knights can't cooperate about anything, and I suspect everyone is about the same.

So, all whining, self pity, and so forth aside, what is your objective opinion on how much the players in your country actually cooperate on a normal basis?

Having asked that, Saturday night in the Islands terrain the Bishops sallied forth the most impressive raid I've yet seen.  The sky was bleeding with B26s and P51s.  Many people got screenshots of the raiding party, but I thought the Bishops might like to see what A1 looked like after they had blown through.

That was amazing to watch guys, <>!

Edit:  HT must be contageous (or I've had too much w[h]ine with my dinner  ) :)

Organisation has NOTHING....repeat...NOTHING to do with the teams.  All it takes is for one guy to start shouting on the radio, "Hey, I want to do a raid...anybody want to go with me?"

For some reason everyone always, always waits around for somebody else to create a raid, not realising that they themselves can run it too.  Once the thing is rolling you get extra people adding into your group wanting a piece of the action too.  Nothing like feeling your being left out to make you want to join in the fun.

Hans.

Teamwork on a three side happens.  Ive seens the Knights storm thru airfield after airfield.  Ive seen the Rooks do the same.  Even though I dont want to admit it, the Bisholes have some great teamwork also. (Pardon me but I have a dislike for Bishops ever since Beta)

It just happens differently at seperate times.  LtHans is correct, it takes a few indivudules to start a push
Rock:  Ya see that Ensign, lighting the cigarette?
Powell: Yes Rock.
Rock: Well that's where I got it, he's my son.
Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock:  No ya wouldn't.
