Was absolutely awesome I taxied, took off, flew and landed. WooHoo!

I have been wanting to do this since I was 8 years old, so a twenty year wait isn't all that bad :rolleyes:

Congrats, now hit the books and learn about coordinated turns and airspace!  :D

Make sure you buy trivial stuff like a house, car, etc before you start!. I know now, that I'll never be able to afford a house :P
(Because all my money disappear into this black hole called aviation, but it's worth every penny)

I was looking into helo lessons out of curiosity.. sheesh $10k for a 3 week course. :eek:

erm why so much?

last time I looked which was maybe a year or two ago it was only marginally more expensive than fixed wing.

that includes taking your ground school as fixed wing then switching .

it was only like 3500-4000k

shop around some, you may find that 10k isn't the norm.
