Some quick Questions
« on: April 22, 2002, 11:16:51 PM »
I have heard you can Padlock in Film Viewer. I also heard in order to Padlock you must have Icons on. So. How do you turn on Icons? then How do you Padlock? I know there is a toggle button up at the top, but on my puter this button is concealed. I've only seen this button in the help file, and I can not access it for some reason.

And what is the best way to render to AVI? whats the best quality I can get and still keep it under say 10-15megs finished Film Viewer AVI?
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Icons can be turned on by selecting the last radio button next to the speed-of-playback slider.

You'll have to map the padlock select key in AH if you haven't already.  Its like the check-6 function... in that it highlights an icon.  When that's done, you can highlight an icon then click on "padlock view" if he is visible.

Well.. you asked where the icon button was.. I told you.

If you can't see it.. I'd suggest e-mailing HTC.

Check your Windoze desktop resolution. When I run in 600 x 800 mode I can't see some of the controls either. When I go to a higher resolution I see more of the film viewer, including a couple of the buttons that are only visible near the right side of the window.
