The Magnificent Seven are recruiting anyone that can follow 2 simple rules.
Rule #1: Respect all other pilots, regardless of whether you like them or not. Verbal Furballs are highly frowned upon.
Rule #2: HAVE FUN! (And that's an order!)
It is truly that simple. We would also ask that you have flown your free 2 week trial and have decided to continue flying. You may also join while still on your 2 week trial if you have decided you will stick around.
Please don't sign up and then promptly leave when the 2 weeks is up. This has happened more than once and is a drain on squad resorces training someone who has no intentions of sticking around.
I did have a post similar to this a month or so ago, but evidently TPTB (ThePowersThatBe) pulled it since it got few responses.

Only kidding about the Teddy Bear, but we do have a Squad Patch.
We fly as a unit mostly. Group flying is NOT required however and flying alone is allowed, but working as a group toward a common goal is highly encouraged. We fly and escort bombers mostly. About half the squad likes to fly bombers, the other half likes fighters. Personal Choice is always encouraged. Ideas of the idividuals are always respected and considered. Training is available. Learning from mistakes is the nature of the beast. Someone in the group will always take the time to train someone should that be necessary. If this is not possible, squad resources will obtain what is necessary.
Squad History dates back to Air Warriors for the Macintosh on AOL. The Magnificent Seven was formed by Ductape and Coach, (now DmdCoach of the Damned)on Christmas Eve 1998. Many personel have come and gone. Many pilots now in AH flew with The Magnificent Seven back in "the day". Moving from AOL to GameStorm and then losing the Mac version caused a few members to seek membership in other existing squads while the squad slowly moved. Making the move from Mac to PC was the toughest on the squad, but was eventually done sucessfully and we were off again. Then PC AW died and we had to move here. Hopefully AH is here to stay and so is The Magnificent Seven!
Once we have enough members, an internal Elite group will be formed which will include only members that have won a series of duels to gain membership. This Elite group will consist of ONLY seven members, and will be open to challanges from other members of the squadron to duel. Should an existing member duel a challanger and lose, he gives up his spot within the group and the challanger takes his spot. Rank within the Elite group will be determined by dueling up. In other words a new member would challange the member ranked above him. Should he win, he would move up. Should he lose he would retain his ranking. The idea is to NOT be the lowest ranked member (#7) as this is the position open to challangers. Anyone losing the series of duels while ranked #7 would give up their spot to the challanger.
They would retain their position within The Magnificent Seven as a squad member, but would lose their Elite ranking.
This is originally how the entire squad worked but we found we lost friends to other squads when they got dueled out, and many did NOT want to join because they feared eventually having to leave the squad. Hopefully this new Elite class will uphold the original ideals of dueling for rank within the squad, while not causing members to lose membership because they lost a few duels.
So now that you are totally confused,
Join up so you can find out what the heck is really going on!
