Side switchers
« on: April 24, 2002, 10:15:27 PM »
I don't know what the thought is of those that switch countries from day to day, but I hate flying with someone one day -helpin em get out of a situation -then getting vulched by the same person the next. Doesn't anyone pick a side and stick with that side to try and win even if that side is getting their arses handed to em? Kinda reminds me of daily life - I'm ganna stand behind the guy whose kickin bellybutton - ( well untill he gets his bellybutton kicked )

It's a game. Don't read too much into it.

Oh... and unlike real life, if we hate you, we'll tell ya. :D

And usually, If we say we hate you, we really don't mean it :)
MAW has always been Knights and always will be, some things you can count on, MAW is one of those things.  We are looking for team players too , look us up :)
We call those with no moral value STINKIN ROTATORS :)
remember , It's just a game,,, or is it,,,YES I AM THE ONE

I switch to whatever side seems more fun flying for that day.
Usually the outnumbered ones; just because its obviously more fun to fly against more enemies. I love target rich enviroments.

I dont care about the people though. All the countries are the same thing to me. In each one there are people I know and like, so if I need a wingman, I always have a choice.

I dont like Animal. I cant wing w/someone I cant understand. And he calls me gringo all the time. Hurts my feelings.

Of course, I only see what he posts here and what he does in the MA.  I know virtually nothing about the man.  I think its important for people to realize that we don't really know squat about each other.... definately not enough to use words like "hate".

I love switching sides.  It gets old flying with and against the same people over and over and over again.  Changing countries allows me to face different players, fly with new allies, and generally makes the game more fun for me.

I also hate to stick with a side that's milkrunning bases in one corner when the other two sides are slugging it out in some massive furball on the other side of the map.  That alone is worthy of switching sides.

Paint said it well, the MAW are fun to fly with.  I just felt like helping the poor Rooks out and if anything, know how a referee feels!  LOL

No phone like here yet, dangit...aint played in over a week.

Side Switching is great - it really helps keep the game exciting for me.  I will  get a chance to fight with and against everyone in the arena eventually.  I try to switch at least every tour.

Admittedly, I do not get to enjoy the bonds that loyaltists enjoy with years of ups and downs together, but thats my choice I suppose.

I will add that the majority of "side switchers" are not "fair-weather fans" as you seem to imply.  It is just as boring to fly with a team that is dominating a map as it is to fly for the team that is gettin thier butts whooped.  Most of us just switch for the change of pace.
