Ok, let me go back on a little of what I said
I'm not happy that Zednik got hurt. We're not cheering a possible series victory in Boston because Montreal's leading threat got knocked out. I will never wish injury on any player in any sporting event.
I play hockey. Have been for 15 years out of 20 of my life. Stuff like that happens, but it's damn sure easier to feel bad when it happens to someone like Sergi Samsonov then a player who plays chippy hockey like Zednik.
Either way, that game on Saturday is going to be the one to watch. I hope the refs keep a good hand on things because if they don't the game will get out of hand real quick. Fortunately for the Bruins, that's the type of game they play.
Oh, and I agree that Montreal's coach should get a stiff fine for his comments. Yea, he's frustrated but you gotta hold your tongue when the reporters are writing.
Only in Canada can you go to a game and hear both national anthems booed, a fan runnin on the ice, and crap thrown at the visiting team as they leave the ice and then to put the icing on the cake have the home coach directly threaten injury in the next game.
