Yeah, I got caught up in one of their base capture frenzies and learned that six .50 calibre machine guns really can kill an Ostwind.  First pass took out my motor, next pass took out my top gun, a few more passes finished me off.

Kudos to a battle well fought!

Come here and complain when you loose... come here and gloat when you win?

And the numbers problem confuses you?

Deja Vu:

I don't recall the FD was the one who started the complaining. In fact he started his own thread 3 days ago to counter the one which contained the whines. His first post pointed out that Rooks won reset at 11:00 a.m. EST by a group of Aussies.
He just posted that Rooks won again last night. I being a Rook am happy at positive posts about our success, and am especially glad to see no posts which contain whines about why everything sux for Rooks. Further, it was a damn good night last night, and few whines by anyone over CH1. The numbers differed by at most 10 to 15 country to country; the fights IMO were excellent.
Everybody wins.

So last night was my first foray into the MA (I've flown H2H for a long time, finally decided I really wanted to support a great company, and a bonus from my company helped too).  Great game.

The point?

I flew rook.  I had a blast, and thanks to everyone for making my first time so much fun.

Actually, I was the one that fingered the possibility of it being Aussies.  At 11:00 am Eastern US time, it might very well have been unemployed software engineers sitting around in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.

Two victories so close together tells me that its more than just a quirk of fate.  Or maybe there really is a group of Aussie fighter dudes that've hooked up and are rolling rough-shod over everybody else.  If so, then we should start lobbying for the Commonwealth Boomerang as the next plane introduced to the game!

Kudos to all Kiwis, Aussies, Japanese, Koreans, Singaporeans, and players from other countries in East Asia!  In addition, the day time flyers in the US and Europe!

Fdutchmn and all you Rook Kiwis, Aussies, Japanese, Koreans, Singaporeans, and other in east Asia thank you for finishing what we U.S. and European Rooks started last night!!!

RJO Operation Slap Happy was moderately successful siezing 15 Bishop bases and 2 Knights bases (of course we lost 3 at the end of the Night that we had siezed earlier) in 3 hours yesterday. Went from a distant second place to seizing first and drove the Bishops (already low man on the totem pole at 9 pm EST) into a corner. Bishops put up a hell of a fight all the way though and I salute you guys for holding on and fighting it out till the end. Your numbers held up all the way through and I don't think any of you gave up and quit last night. Well fought.

Was a lot of fun and the RJO squads and non-RJO Rook flyers gelled and had a good time doing damage to our enemies on three fronts (1 Bishop and 2 Knights). Of course only so much you can do in 3 hours but I am very glad to hear that the Rooks held on throught the night and that are East Asian comrades sealed the deal.

We like to think it as morale-boosting hormone poisoning.

And god knows how much we needed those lately, amen!
