In the thread
http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=50543
HiTech makes it clear that planes below 500 feet will not illuminate the dar bar.

And yet, on the lake map the dar bar is illuminated for all cons.  Apar (a rook) at my request could see the dar bar and I (bish) was flying at 100 feet above sea level.   And yes, the sector was clean except for me.

Is there a misunderstanding?

and here

too.

Maybe it is below 500 feet above sea level not below 500 feet above ground level?

Dunno.  This is pretty freaking weird.  Hitech tells us one thing and yet it doesn't work that way.

I have had the same problem with this. Me and squadies are doing different types of missions and we do NOE, When im in one sector i see NO dar bar but my squadies do (they are in a different one) and i see theirs but they dont. It happens on mindano too. I would like to have NOE be a secret till we reach with in a certian mile of the enemy base then we become visable on bar dar. but yes i have seen this before also

WTG Hitech.  Me, Woody and the rooks tested it. :D  They never saw me coming and we sneaked a base.

Thx, Hitech!

The AKs spent a good part of two years rotating among the three countries.  Part of the reason was selfish ... I was new to the sim two years ago and wanted to meet everyone.  What better way to meet someone than to wing with them?

We are permanently Bishop now.  It's funny, but when we were rotating, I could see that each country was essentially the same.  Lots of nice guys/gals and jerks in each country.

It's nice to see that nothing has changed, Mipoikel.:D
