Like the fuel modifier here, got to watch the old gauge :)

But am I doing it right ?? If it's on auto ( default ? ) does the gremlin switch tanks for me ?? And if so, that's a very chitty job...

If not, wah, wha, I.... whassup wit dat ??

Seems the fuel modifier is pretty stiff, but am I be needing to switch some tanks ??

Being that I'm a Souless Dix ( tm ) it takes time to get to "cherry picking" altitude.

Are external fuel tanks the norm ?? Are they made of paper ?? Is it 100 octane ???? Can you use a Shell card ??????

Not seeing a keymap command to drop tanks..

Wha..wass....p...dit....dat ???

When they fall, do they go boom ??

Are innocent bystanders involved ??

Do I need insurance ?

Don't you just love newbies ????

:D

Use your Back Space key to cycle through all your Ord till you see the drop tanks, then hit "B", or whatever you've got secondary weapoms mapped to.

I guess we'll be seeing more of the WBs newbies in here pretty soon! :) It's nice to see ya.

in a 190 you wanna burn your aft tank first (shift f). If left untouched your fuel tanks will automatically cycle.

109s for the most part you can leave alone.

190s imho benefit most by burning the aft tank.

Another thing combat trim. I fly with it off for the most part.

Read lephturns article on trim

Trim

also do you know you can set your views up and save your head position with f10?

also you can replace your warning.wav (base under attack)

I use This

you can do the same with the check6.wav
check6

AFAIK the auto fuel feature burns your tanks evenly to keep your plane's trim centered

in the p51 it's good to get the aux tank used 1st, even before the dt, as it throws your center of gravity off. burn some fuel outta the wings and it helps roll rate too.

109s only have one tank so it doesnt matter. i dont fly 190s so i wouldnt know. wotan is prolly right.
