AWESOME work Knits! We got the reset
« on: April 20, 2001, 01:48:00 AM »
Hey guys, I just wanna say to you all (paintMAW, LaVa, Bloom and all the rest whose names elude me...) that I was really wow'd at the progress we made to win the reset!  We really pulled it together...I was planning on getting to bed early but we keep making more and more progress on winning a reset.  And it finally happened!  Woohoo!

(Now, in my case, I lost a butt load of perk points again and emailed Pyro about it    I'm sure he'll fix it as he has before...)

Times like last night are what make the whole damn $30 worth it.  We had some great bomber guys, goon drivers and great fighter guys plowing the path for them.  It was pretty impressive!

Ok, now before the birds start chirping, Im off to bed!  Thanks for a great time, Knights!

Was doing the Rookie thing for a while last night- we fought you guys off of 30, 27, and 26. Was fun! Logged after that, so you guys must have gone on a tear or turned on the Bish.

ARRRGGGG

What time did we win?

I hung in as long as my sore eyes could take it. Sorry I couldn't be there to taste the victory

Dang.. I musta logged an hour before we got it.

I'd just spent the previous hour at A22 defending it almost solo from hordes of rook attackers.  What a blast!  Never got the base... neenerneenerneener:P

Its a good thing we weren't there last night.  I would like to add some names as well.  bradys5, Wotan, DG, BeechS, shortie.  From bombing to fighter escort to covering the advance of the goons.  Watch these guys work and they know the routine on base capturing.  <S> I am very proud to fly with these guys.  They have taught me a lot so far, and before the last 3 mentioned they killed me a lot as well.  Salute, you guys are awesome pilots.

75% of the total time Knits have number advantage, so don't pat yourself on the shoulder for all those resets.

It's funny to see how field capturings go compared to numbers online. Once an underdogteam gets more players online it takes about 1/2 hour to stabilize things and get mentality changed and they will capture fields.

Also underdog teams will hardly ever create missions and play purely to defend, buying time, stalling field losses.

The only shame is the braggers of the uberteams who say skill and tactics are the winning factor. Well, all those so sayers are invited to fly a couple weeks for an underdog team and make a difference...

Am I the only one noticing that it is always the knits who pet their own shoulders and when someone points out that they have (again) the numbers, the objector is pummeled in ridicule... So much for a mature discussion.

Almost like 10 bullies complementing eachother for beating up this 2 kiddies.

Oke, gimme more insults you bravehearts!

Are you through whining yet?

What's the matter, jealous that your guys don't pat each other on the back when 20 or so guys pull it together and win a reset?  You seem to like to play the victim, perhaps you should learn the ways of good sportsmanship and surprise us.  But I don't suspect you'll do that, and your whines will only continue.

Hehe, so if I reply I am the eternal whiner and if I don't respond I am a defeated whiner, outperformed by your witty remarks

Must be great to have a real life conversation with you and disagree about something. Do you put your fingers in your ear and go: "NaaaNaaaH, can't hear you! Stop talking! Shut up dweeb!"

What kinda response did ya expect when you post silly messages like this on the main board? Compliments of all your knit friends and Bish and Rook alike?

I will leave your honored thread and no longer foul it with my unworthy presence to drown myself in self pity oke?

Have fun with your ego...
