Hell yeah, bring em on, even easier to kill than C47s.  Line up all your friends in them, then just do me one favor and let me know where to find ya.

Even easier than vultching.  :)

How bout some Higgins boats.

You could have it so you could continously run back and forth to the fleet and reup with supplies or troops, kinda like Airfield rearm pad.

But first ;)  (you knew that was coming)

Adjustable speed for Task Force!!!!

Such a simple Improvement, HT lets see Adjustable Speed for TF's in 1.10.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

They could be used for Air-Sea rescue or Air-ground rescue . Also, PBY was used for mine laying... Hmm maybe mines that would last for 1/2 hour and either side would get killed by it. Maybe a new Naval twist. If a pilot could rescue a downed pilot he might get points for resue. And the downed pilot would get a life added back. It would insentivise pilots to rescue but would also be vulnerable to being shot down.

Rescue downed pilots? I like that idea, sure would add something more to the game, and sure wouldnt hurt it, a pilot rescued wouldnt lose points, and the Amphibian pilot would get perkies, maybe the downed pilot could have say,5 flares he could fire for easy location? :)

The H8K2 Emily, the best flying boat of the war, was equipped to carry either 64 troops, or torpedos, or bombs.

With it's armor and defensive cannons, in the MA it would become the only plane that could fight it's way into a base, destroy it, then drop the troops.

The new uber plane!

BRING THE H8K2 TO ACES HIGH!

It was mentioned a while ago by HT in an interview around the time of the last convention that subs would be added at some point, Sub huntin in a sunderland would be REAL cool.

Errr, sorry, just have to point this out, first off Dago can spell Amphibians
(M you cloggie!, not N) and secondly not many "Rupes" shot down allied aircraft, during the Flying Tiger stint, it was like a 10 to 1 K/D ratio for P40 vs Rupes(your A6M on a float).

Thank you (Steps off podium)

Need PBY most versatile seaplane of WWII IMHO.

Nice night missions like the "Black Cats' in the NDIsles Terrain would be great!

The PBY could serve one very specialized but important purpose: using its radar to find enemy fleets. It was the AWACS of its day besides the ASW and rescue capabilities.
