What's been happening lately ?

Hey all....
I've been away for a while and was wondering what the verdict on 1.06 is and how things are going.

A quick look showed whining about country ##s. (same old thing)

How the perk planes working out ?
AC type usage lopsided ?

It looks like it was a good update.  Not many complaints.

The Perk Planes are in there, but barely affect the game at all.  They're more scary for their user than for the victims (who are drooling at the possibility to shoot one down).

The addition of a storm cloud in the game has really added alot for some (a few hate them though).

The 190D9 and La7 are popular fighters.  The Yak9T is now the defacto anti-tank fighter (the 37mm cannon kills them easy).  You see some P51Bs too, but there are just as many D models yet.

The Fw190F8 really hasn't made much impact.  Its bassically a forgotten plane.

Arado's are used as "special ops" bombers bassically.  The Tempest is the perk fighter, but the Ta152 isn't very potent.  It really shines at high altitudes, and how often do you see fights up there?

HEY!

The f8 is NOT forgotten. I take it on every JABO mission I go on  .

It might not be the best jabo, and might be a bad fighter, but its COOL and you can kill 2-3 osties with it if yer really good at dropping eggs

Hi Snoopi: As far as arenas go I played a little while in the island arena and the new big pond arena and the island arena has more diversity (V bases, more CV's) and less mass furballing.  So how's life in Canada?

I'm back into studying again and am doing more home renovation stuff.

I'm looking foward to all this snow going away.
There is a lake out there with my name on it.  

Wish I had more time so I could "fly" AH but it hasn't been working out so far.

Yep-Always something to do to the house-just finished vinyl floors and am spreading gravel in drive way now.  It's getting warmer in California but we did have a little snow a couple months back.  I have been playing the Irish drum (bohdran) in a little celtic band but I've given up fishing cause most of the migratory fish are getting listed as rare or endangered.  Salmon and steelhead are down the tubes so to speak. They say global warming is here to stay to Canada should unfreeze pretty soon. HEHE. Take Care--BB

You ever want to do some amazing fishing you HAVE to come up here.

2 hours North of me is a 'secret' lake I found.
I pulled 23 trout out of it in one day.
I released all but 1 back into the lake.
To top that off this general area is a place very few people go to, so the solitude it fantastic.
It's amazing what you find if you just say "hmmm... wonder where this dirt road goes...."

LOL  This is 1st 'normal' winter we have had in 5 years (Cold and snow about 1ft deep).
I'm hoping the 'normal' 80-90 F summer temps come back too.


Bohdran....nice...I'd love to get back into playing again... I ran into an old bandmate of mine from years back and it has me thinking about get a group together.


I'll hopefully see you in the 'air'.

Which aircraft are the 'perk' aircraft ?

The help docs imply this is apt to change based on the gameplay results.   ?

Where do I find a perk point listing ?
(I must be blind, can't seem to find one on the site)
