It's shipping :).  I read in another thread that orders up until March (22nd) or 29th 2002 will be covered by this initial shipment.  That last part is hearsay tho'.

Paula said the Order Dept, may work late tonight billing pre-orders in an attempt to try and start get 'em out tomorrow.

Paula also told me I have a pretty low order number, so mine should be sent to me outta this 1st batch :D

Heh, well you shoulda ordered with FSC :).  I can't think of anyone I would rather order from.  Aaron, the owner, was a flight sim enthusiast before even starting the company.  Paula, who you'll generally speak to when making an order, has been there since forever and I still remember her calling me up at TM now and then to give me the name & number of one of their customers (who purchased TM stuff, of course :)) that were having problems and would I mind giving them a ring.

They usually cost a little more than C&B, but you'll know where the money is going when you need help.

I'll send ya my current F22/TQS files Milli.  In my opinion, the first thing to do is to program as many buttons as you can as DirectX buttons and map the functions in AH, instead of programming keypresses to 'em.  Looks like AH will let you set up 32 DirectX buttons, so that's good.  HT also has the Axis stuff set up very thoroughly, so it's good to set up the Range and Antenna rotories as DirectX Axis.  For my TQS, I have my Antenna set up for engine RPMs (You just map that one axis to Eng 1-4) and my Range set up for analog braking (same deal as eng, set for left and right wheel brakes).

My file is using some Logical Programming tags for my view setup, but I'll probably be reviewing that as I set it up years ago for WarBirds.

Thanks for the heads up there SOB. I did not know they were taking orders for the Cougar way back when I ordered. I don't mind spending the money on the customer service like you get with FSC.

I just wish I would have done it with this order. I have made a promise though that the next order I do for something like this will go through FSC. I will not order from C&B again after the lame responses from all except the guy there named "Bill". He was the only one that was truly helpful when I have had questions about something with my order. All the others have been smart bellybutton punks.

Ok, I give. Couldn't resist any longer, just placed my order for a Cougar at FSC.

Now, which one of you is going to explain the $292.00 on her credit card when it ships? ;)

This is precisely why I pre-ordered.  When the bill finally showed up... I said "Wow.. I ordered that way back in July."  Its a trick I learned from her.  If you purchase something secretely, then don't tell the spouse for over 6 months... then spring it on them... they can't get mad.

Me: "Is that a new dress?"
Wife: "No... its old, I've had this for a year."
Me: "Have you worn it before?"
Wife: "Umm... no."

BTW... the version for SOB goes:

SOB: "Where'd you get that ring?"
His girl: "What ring?"
SOB: "That ring right there!"
His girl: "I've had that for over a year."
SOB: "Why didn't you tell me about it."
His girl: "I didn't think I'd have to.  I'm your hand.  You bought it and put it on me yourself!"
