And does it have all the loadouts and what model and does anyone fly it?

I have become quite attached to this plane in IL2, and find it to be a superior ground attack plane, on the scale of the B25H(my old love). Tell me about the AH one, and a picture or two would be nice.

Yes, there is an IL-2 in AH. It has quite a few different loadouts, and some really big canons.

There is an Il-2, but it lacks the 37mm cannon option.

It is tough for a single engined aircraft, but the tail still comes off pretty quickly and it is SLOOOWWWW!!!!

You can find pictures of the IL-2 in this old post in the news forums, I had'nt realised the IL-2 had been in the game so long.

Sweet! It says Type3, but it has a rear gunner. I take it that is not the Series 3?

i fly il2 vs gv's a lot.

i think it should be tougher but its still tuff enough.

its the only attack plane that can take multiple 37mm hits and keep going.

It is Il-2 Type 3 (Not Il-2M or Il-2 Type 3M).
2M had 1600hp AM-38 and Type 3 and 3M had 1780hp AM-38F engines.

Armament is 2*23mm VYa cannons +2*7,62mm ShKAS MGs in wings and 12,7mm UBT mg in tailgunner.
Bomb load 750kg and/or 4*RS82 or 4*RS132 rockets.

btw only Il-2 was w/out tail gunner; from -2M forward they had gunners (Sept.-42 ->)

Realize I know nothing about the IL2 but what I have learned from the game, but the I model had no gunner and carried only cannons? I REally like that one, since it can dogfight for a turn or two.
