I thought there was a forsale section here, were we can sell our old joysticks, throttles, video cards, memory etc but I was wrong.

Liz Hurley[/i]!  I don't mind what mileage she's done or how often she was serviced but just as long as the bodywork is still good!  :) :)

Please send details to.......  ;)

Good idea, guess it would need a disclaimer in the title of the forum so there are no come backs on HTC for any deals renegged on.

Revvin touched on the main reason why most companies don't have forsale forums on their public boards.

At some point, HTC's liability can come into question and its better (definately cheaper) just to avoid that all together.

Liability? Oh give me a break.  We're talking fifty to ninety bucks worth of stuff here.

Are you trying to tell me that my local IGA is responsible for that arse who posted a forsale 1986 Chev Camero on their post board that died on me last week?

HTC would have as much liability for me calling you a paranoid idiot. :D

Ebay is for ripping off complete strangers who are willing to pay rediculous prices for anything.  A for sale forum here would be a place to sell stuff at a reasonable price to your fellow virtual pilots.

yeah...what he said...

And a "for sale" forum here would save both parties from the monetary extorsion that ebay charges.

I second the idea (4th or 5th?)  At anyrate, I went to a business seminar (introduction to supervision) and I fail to see any liability issues in regard to this matter as long as the appropriate disclaimer were put up etc.  I mean, we can post our stuff for sale right now.

I have an older saitek rig that mostly works I will sell it cheap.  Respond to me if you are interested...

There...  Now is hitech liable for that?  :)

Having a forum to direct this traffic is a good idea.

Good idea, I think.

I doubt there's any liability to HTC; disclaimer would be icing on the cake.

Renege? Buyers buy at your own risk. Sellers ship after the check clears. Buyer unhappy? That's between the buyer and seller.

It could work.
