First of all are F4u-1 and F4u-1A the same version? if not I would like to see F4u-1A with a "Bubble canopy" like Boyington's

Man, that's beautiful!

I've been flying the F4U-1 almost exclusively lately and the one problem I encounter is the forward canopy frame blocking the target when I try to use a little lag pursuit.  That canopy would make things much better on all accounts.

Leave the Birdcage alone!!!!!

Kiwis flew the birdcage. We need an RNZAF scheme for it. Then you can have your steenkin' 1A :D

And btw I have 2 Great Uncles that died in the Solomons in WWII, one was an Infantry Man, and the other was an Engineer.

There is no "Vermillion" only "Vermin".
